While many consumers purchase warranty plans for piece of mind, they may find companies refusing to provide coverage.
1. Parties to Sue
Generally claims should be filed against both the dealer and the warranty company. Otherwise, the dealer says the warranty company failed to provide coverage and the warranty company argues the problem existed when the car was sold invalidating the coverage.

- lack of maintenance coverage should accord with the reasonable expectations of the insured and minor gaps should not bar coverage.
- bogus report Frequently the warranty sends out an inspector whose job it is to avoid coverage.
